Located at the eastern edge of Taipei, the new Taiwan Pop Music Center is envisioned as a metastructure, redefining the incomplete cityscape of Nangang district.
Our design for the TPMC envisions the project brief in an all-encompassing form that will create a new urban engine for a currently fractured Edge City. A 5,000 seat Main Hall, 3 "Live House" nightclubs, a large Outdoor Theater, recording studios, shopping areas, restaurants, lecture halls and an office building are all gathered within the body of the new TPMC, which rises above a new public greenway and calls back to the dense urban core of Taipei to the west.
